VeeFriends Comic Book #18 introduces Observant Oyster, Calm Clam, Loyal Lobster, Sufficient Shrimp and Sensible Sommelier in their first-ever comic book appearances, as a newly successful YouTuber named Amanda keeps returning to a bizarre Boston seafood restaurant hoping that her food’s advice will finally be enough to change her life.

Written by award-winning writer James Patrick, with artwork by D.J. Coffman and Nick Seluk’s first ever comic book cover, what begins as a darkly funny story about a woman who can’t leave a bad relationship becomes something far more profound. When Amanda discovers Shells Kitchen, a waterfront restaurant where the seafood is alive, sentient, and remarkably good at therapy, she gets exactly the advice she needs, every single time. But knowing what to do and actually doing it are two completely different things.

This issue launches on Tuesday, June 2nd at 12pm ET on the VeeFriends online shop, alongside a Whatnot Live Drop on June 2nd at 6pm hosted by GaryVee!

VeeFriends Come Out Of Their Shells To Give Advice

    Loyal Lobster

Loyal Lobster has appeared across NFTs, trading cards, pins, FriendsCaps, tees, and hoodies. In Comic Book #18, we finally get to see the traits that can make Lobster’s loyalty powerful. Loyal Lobster shows us a warm, direct, and deeply compassionate spirit that makes you feel safe enough to hear hard things.

    Sufficient Shrimp

Sufficient Shrimp has appeared across NFTs, trading cards, Tees and hoodies, and now we get to see how Sufficient Shrimp can truly give enough in Comic Book #18. Enthusiastic, eager, and fully committed from the moment Amanda sits down, Sufficient Shrimp doesn’t wait for the whole story. He’s already in Amanda’s corner from the beginning. His energy is contagious and his loyalty is immediate.

    Calm Clam

Calm Clam has appeared across NFTs, trading cards, Tees, and hoodies as a sought-after collectible for those who resonate with being even-keeled. Now in Comic Book #18, Calm Clam shows how measured, steady, and precise she can be. Calm Clam doesn’t rush to fill silence. She listens until she understands, and when she speaks, it lands.

    Observant Oyster

Observant Oyster has appeared across NFTs, Super Stickers, pins, coins, trading cards, tees, and hoodies. Oyster debuts in Comic Book #18 with the sharp perceptive sensibility we all expect. As one of the bluntest characters, Observant Oyster only opens up when he has something worth saying, which means his contributions are rare, perfectly timed, and impossible to ignore.

    Sensible Sommelier

Sensible Sommelier has appeared across NFTs, trading cards, Super Stickers, tees and hoodies. Now he’s the first face you’ll see at Shells Kitchen. He doesn’t explain more than you need to know. He doesn’t push. He simply points you in the right direction and trusts the kitchen to do the rest.
