NEAR and Ondo Finance on September 22 brought 20 tokenized products based on U.S. stocks, ETFs, and commodity-linked ETFs to near.com and NEAR Intents. The integration allows eligible users in supported regions to use USDC, Bitcoin, or holdings across more than 30 blockchains to access traditional markets through a single account. The move expands the role of NEAR Intents from cross-chain swap infrastructure into a distribution channel for traditional financial assets on the blockchain.
Ondo Stocks Launches With 20 Tokenized Assets
According to Ondo, the initial portfolio includes tokens providing economic exposure to Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon stocks. Users can also access Invesco QQQ alongside ETFs investing in precious metals, including iShares Silver Trust and iShares Gold Trust.
The tokens carry the suffix “on”, such as NVDAon for Nvidia, TSLAon for Tesla, and QQQon for Invesco QQQ. Ondo has currently confirmed only a portion of the total 20 assets deployed on near.com and has not published the full list.
near.com is the first interface to offer this portfolio within the NEAR ecosystem. The assets are also distributed via NEAR Intents to wallets, applications, and protocols that have integrated this infrastructure, subject to access conditions in each region.
Ondo Stocks previously operated on Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain. The integration opens an additional access channel via near.com and NEAR Intents, rather than issuing all 20 tokens directly on the NEAR Protocol as natively issued assets.
Ondo Stocks are now live on near․com and across @near_intents.

NEAR Intents Handles Cross-Chain Routing
According to the launch announcement, near.com users can buy, hold, and resell Ondo tokens using USDC, Bitcoin, or supported assets across over 30 blockchains. Transactions are processed via NEAR Intents without requiring users to manually bridge assets, open a second wallet, or create a separate brokerage account.
The integration helps Ondo reach users from multiple blockchain ecosystems through a single interface. near.com serves as the initial access point, while wallets, applications, and protocols connected to NEAR Intents can also distribute these assets if they meet relevant regulatory requirements.
NEAR stated that information regarding size, asset pairs, and trade directions is not made public prior to order execution. This feature is designed to limit “front-running” and pending order exploitation, but does not eliminate identity verification or investment eligibility requirements.
Token Holders Gain Exposure, Not Direct Share Ownership
Ondo Stocks track the economic performance of the underlying stocks or ETFs, including price movements and net-of-tax dividends. However, the tokens are not securities registered directly under the holder’s name and do not confer rights to receive the corresponding underlying stocks or ETFs.
According to Ondo, each token is backed by underlying securities and pending cash settlements. These assets are held at U.S.-registered broker-dealers or licensed national trust companies. An independent entity conducts daily audits of the collateral assets.
Eligible users can mint or redeem Ondo Stocks 24 hours a day, five days a week. Select assets already support 24/7 minting and redemption. Tokens can also be traded via third-party exchanges, wallets, and protocols.
Tokenized Stock Market Tops $3 Billion
The tokenized stock market reached approximately $3.13 billion in distributed value on September 24, 2026, up 14.65% over 30 days, according to RWA.xyz. On-chain token transfer volume for the month reached $13.19 billion.
Ondo topped the provider rankings with roughly $867.3 million in distributed value. bStocks followed with $742.4 million, while xStocks recorded $571 million.
RWA.xyz’s independent figures are lower than the over $1 billion TVL reported by Ondo. The two figures are not directly comparable as distributed value and TVL are calculated using different scopes. Ondo also stated that the platform has processed over $26 billion in cumulative trading volume since launch, including centralized exchange, decentralized exchange trading, as well as token minting and redemption activities.
Availability Remains Limited by Jurisdiction
Ondo Stocks are not available to “U.S. persons”, individuals currently in the U.S., or users in Canada. In certain markets such as the UK, Switzerland, and Singapore, products are offered only to professional investors or those meeting specific criteria.
The tokens are issued by Ondo Global Markets (BVI) Limited and have not been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933. Users wishing to mint or redeem directly with Ondo must complete KYC, anti-money laundering checks, and residency verification.
Tokens may be transferred on-chain or purchased via third-party platforms where legally permitted. However, holding tokens does not automatically qualify users to redeem directly with Ondo.
The integration expands the distribution channel but does not alter the regulatory limits applicable to the products. NEAR and Ondo have not disclosed initial trading volume, user numbers, fees, or specific bid-ask spreads for Ondo Stocks on near.com at the time of launch.
