Benjamin Browne has built his career as London’s top detective, noticing the crucial details other people miss, following evidence wherever it leads, and trusting his ability to separate fact from fiction. That works pretty well until the victim in his latest investigation becomes himself.
After Benjamin is left on life support following an attempted murder by a mysterious figure, he is given a heart from a monkey to survive. The side effects of the transplant transform him into a monkey. Then the question becomes, who hurt him, why did they hurt him, and what does becoming a monkey do to him?
The result is an origin story filled with mystery, suspense, action, banana peels, and one very important question about what really defines a person when everything changes.
