    BSN CAPITAL PARTNERS Ltd opened a new position in Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) during the first quarter, adding another large institutional investor to the company’s shareholder base. The firm bought 701,000 shares in total valued at about $210.9 million, according to its latest 13F filing.

    The position accounts for 9.3% of BSN Capital Partners’ portfolio and ranks as its third-largest holding. The purchase comes as GOOGL stock trades near $357.52, supported by strong cloud growth and continued spending on artificial intelligence infrastructure.

    Several major investors also hold large positions in Alphabet. Vanguard Group increased its stake by 2.4% during the fourth quarter and now owns more than 528.9 million shares. State Street also raised its position and holds about 229.9 million shares.

    Geode Capital Management owns more than 146.1 million shares after lifting its stake by 1.9%. Bank of America also increased its Alphabet holdings by 4.9%. Institutional investors and hedge funds currently own about 40.03% of Alphabet shares.

    Alphabet reported quarterly revenue of $119.8 billion, above the $117.07 billion consensus estimate. The company also posted earnings per share of $9.11, compared with the market estimate of $2.89.

    The company has reportedly lifted its 2026 capital spending outlook to about $205 billion. Much of that spending is expected to support data centers, Google Cloud, and AI computing capacity. Google Cloud revenue also rose 82% year over year, while contracted backlog reached about $514 billion.

    Insider Transactions Remain Part of Recent Filings

    GOOGL stock opened Tuesday at $357.52. The shares have a 50-day moving average of $355.30 and a 200-day average of $340.74. Alphabet carries a market value of about $4.37 trillion and trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 17.96.

    Alphabet also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.22 per share, payable September 14 to shareholders of record on September 7. The annualized dividend stands at $0.88 per share, with a yield near 0.2%.

    Alphabet Director Frances Arnold sold 82 shares on July 30 at an average price of $333.39. The transaction was valued at about $27,338 and reduced her position by 0.43%.

    Insider John Kent Walker also sold 8,998 shares in late June for about $3.14 million. Company insiders sold 600,547 shares during the latest quarter, while insiders continue to own 11.61% of Alphabet stock.
