What Is The VeeFriends Comic Book Lava Variant?
A variant cover is an alternate version of a comic book that features the same story with different and rare cover art. Collectors have chased them for decades. The rarest ones are the hardest to get, and often hard to find on the market due to its collectible nature.
The Lava variant is a physical, printed cover with a special lava-inspired alternate cover. It cannot be found in the standard collection pack. It is exclusive to Burn Island. The only way to own a Lava variant of a VeeFriends comic book is to be a Book Games holder who burned BOOK GAMES during the activation window. When the window closes, production closes with it. The final print count will match the final burn count.

Each select issue will have its own burn window, and each window will produce its own Lava variant cover. Each distinctive Lava variant is exclusive to the holders who burned during that specific activation.

Is the Lava variant a digital or physical item?
Physical. Your Lava variant is a printed comic book with the special Lava variant cover, made-to-order and shipped to you after the burn window closes.
Do Lava variants add to the total print count of the comic books?
The print run of Lava variants for a given comic will not extend that comic’s total print count. The final count of an issue’s Lava variants will be printed on the bag, and reduced from the amount of comic books available in standard packs.
How many Lava variants will exist?
The total print run will match the total number of burns during the activation window exactly. Once the window closes, no additional variants will be produced.
Can I burn during any of the burn windows to receive a specific issue’s Lava variant?
No. Each Lava variant is tied to its specific activation window.
What if I miss the burn window?
The window is final. Once it closes, that particular issue’s Lava variant will not be available again through any future activation.
