As we head into the holiday season, one of the biggest nationally televised events in the United States is happening this week with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City! As a part of the parade this year, Macy’s will also be hosting their second Virtual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which will feature VeeFriends alongside four other NFT projects/creators — Boss Beauties, Cool Cats, gmoney, and SupDucks. But there is a twist…this year all five featured projects will be part of a voting competition where the prize for the most votes means that project will have a balloon in the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade IRL!

1. General Audience (100,000 Max Votes):
The general public is eligible to have 1 vote per wallet limited to 100,000 wallets.
2. VeeFriends Series 2 NFTs (200,000 Max Votes)
If you own one or more VeeFriends Series 2 NFT each vote counts as ~3.67 votes.
Vote totals are weighted based on max eligible votes divided by the total NFTs in the collection. (aka 200,000 / 54,387 S2 minted)
3. Macy’s Genesis NFTs (400,240 Max Votes)
If you own one or more Macy’s Genesis NFTs each NFT vote counts based on rarity:
- Classic: 20 votes per NFT
- Rare: 80 votes per NFT
- Ultra Rare: 2,000 votes per NFT
4. 2022 Macy’s NFTs (800,000 Max Votes)
