Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Jones is a comic-book cartoonist, writer, illustrator, and event organizer known for his distinct pulp-adventure style. He is the creator, writer, and artist behind the self-published adventure series The Baboon through Bow Tie Press, co-founded Power Pulp Comics, and has contributed artwork to Comixology Originals including Quarter Killer, Kicking Ice, SPAKOW!, and Tales of MFR. Jones also serves as a program director and core organizer for Indie Comics Creator Con, supporting creator-owned comics and independent artists.

Comic Book #21 features a special Cover B by Brett Bean, whose energetic, character-driven approach gives Articulate Armadillo a completely different spin for his debut issue. Bean is a Los Angeles-based cartoonist, author, and character designer whose work spans comics, animation, and children’s literature. His career includes collaborations with Disney, Marvel, and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, along with work on I Hate Fairyland with Skottie Young and the Dungeon Crawler Carl graphic novel. His comic book D’ORC from Image Comics is currently one of the top-selling books in the comic industry.
