Halloween has a new legend.
VeeFriends Comic Book #23: Jolly Jack-O introduces the first appearance and origin of VeeFriends’ pumpkin-headed Halloween hero. This issue follows Jolly’s annual October return to spread Halloween cheer. But the Fear Witches want their season of terror back, and this year, a monster hunter may give them exactly what they need to stop him.
Jolly Jack-O is also bringing his Halloween comic book to the 2026 New York Comic Con with two exclusive collectibles. Attendees will get a first look at Comic Book #23 through the Jolly Jack-O Graded Mystery Box, featuring NYCC-exclusive foil variants of Cover B by Tim Jacobus, the original cover artist behind R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series. Only 341 CGC-graded mystery boxes exist, including 310 Orange Ice editions and 31 Black Ice chase editions, with randomly inserted CGC Signature Series autographed copies signed by either Gary Vaynerchuk or Tim Jacobus. Collectors can also grab Jim Rugg’s Jolly Jack-O Blacklight Poster, an 18” x 24”, four-color fluorescent screen print limited to just 100 copies.
Comic Book #23 is created by Gary Vaynerchuk, with a story and art by D.J. Coffman, and colors and lettering by Tom Martin. This 23,000-copy edition features original sketch covers and all-new rare variants, including the debut of the Burn Island Lava variant and the VeeFriends Purple variant.
