The award was presented during the fifth edition of the Peru Blockchain Conference, held on July 10–11 at the JW Marriott Hotel Lima in Miraflores. The event brought together participants from the cryptocurrency, blockchain, finance and technology industries, with more than 4,000 attendees, 50 sponsors and 100 speakers expected to take part.
Bitunix participated as a Title Sponsor of the 2026 conference, joining keynote sessions, networking activities, and discussions focused on the development of digital assets and the growing use of cryptocurrency across Latin America.
Furthermore, Bitunix also received the Excellence Award for Innovation in Derivatives Trading and Trader Technology at the conference. The recognition highlights the exchange’s work in developing derivatives products and trading technology for users. Moreover, the two awards recognize Bitunix’s work in developing trading tools and technology designed to give users a more practical and accessible trading experience.

Earlier in 2025, Bitunix participated in Crypto Latin Fest in Medellín, Colombia, where it received the Breakthrough Platform of the Year award.
The latest awards in Peru mark another recognition for Bitunix in Latin America and come as the exchange continues to expand its engagement with traders, industry professionals and cryptocurrency communities across the region.
